The Cuban food here is authentic and reasonably priced, which we were glad to find when trying to avoid tourist traps here in the Keys. We also love the fresh juice here, especially the guava with the actual pulp you could taste in there! They also give you complimentary bread and the portions are pretty big (my girl friend and I shared a plate and still couldn’t finish). Would definitely revisit this family run Cuban restaurant if I were to come back to the Keys again. Highly recommend!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It will forever have a special place in my heart. The food, staff, prices, everything is A all around. I'm already planning another trip to Marathon from Jersey just so that I can enjoy the food once again. My family and I cannot stop talking about it! Hands down the best Cuban food we had during our visit to the Keys.

What a pleasant place. Of all the cuban places on the island, this one has been the best! They understand English very well, get my order right the first time, and prepare it in a timely manner.I got a nice Midnight sandwich and a cafe con leche. Nice! No extra frills, because there was nothing to make up for.It was all great quality and I ate for less than 20.I felt welcomed by the staff, very warm language. Comforting, and personalized.I will be back! Great value. Best cuban spot on the island, period. Ill never go back to the other places, this is my cuban home ;)

Five-Star Review for La Niña Restaurant - Marathon, FloridaAs local real estate agents with the Florida Keys Home Team, we’re always on the lookout for great spots to grab a bite after showings and open houses. After wrapping up an open house at 125 Mockingbird Lane, we asked a few visitors where they’ve eaten recently—and two of them raved about La Niña Restaurant. Naturally, we had to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did! This roadside gem, conveniently located just north of the 7 Mile Bridge on the ocean side, offers authentic Cuban flavors that will leave you wanting more. I ordered their famous Cuban sandwich with Tostones on the side, and it did not disappoint. The Cuban sandwich was packed with flavorful, perfectly seasoned meat, layered inside crispy Cuban bread that had the ideal crunch. The Tostones were equally delicious—crispy, flat-fried, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and while parking can be a little tricky since it’s right off the Overseas Highway, it’s absolutely worth it. Be cautious pulling in and out, especially during busy hours. Seating options include a small indoor area and outdoor covered picnic tables, making it a great spot to chat with locals and enjoy the laid-back Keys vibe. One thing to note—being right off the highway, there’s a bit of road noise, but honestly, we barely noticed because the food was so amazing. Prices are reasonable for the Florida Keys, making this a must-visit stop whether you’re passing through Marathon or staying in town. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic Cuban flavors and great service in the Florida Keys.

La Niña in Marathon is a hidden gem that absolutely delivers on authentic Cuban flavor! From the moment you bite into their thick, meaty Cuban sandwiches, you’ll know this place is something special. Unlike many spots in the area that skimp on the meat and overdo the ham, La Niña packs their sandwiches with rich, flavorful pork that takes the classic to a whole new level. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of this unassuming spot. While it’s located on the northbound side of the Highway and parking can be a bit tricky—requiring some patience as you back up onto the road—the food is absolutely worth the effort. The seating is simple, with a few tables inside and out. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the mix of employees, neighbors, and traffic sounds, but honestly, the food more than makes up for it. If you’re in the area, La Niña is a must-visit. I’d happily come here 27 million times just for the food! Don’t miss it!

Excellent roadside restaurant. I've eaten here for breakfast multiple times. The steak and eggs are a nice size with sautéed onions on top and only 12. You can't beat the quality for this price. The staff is welcoming and provides quick service.
